While every girl loves weddings, Brittany Van Rensburg’s adoration became her passion. And

when passion meets fate, she realized that life was a dress rehearsal for her role.

Consider Brittany’s background. Ten years of restaurant industry experience (she knows

catering). Twelve years of theater background (she knows drama). And a degree in

psychology (she’s ready for anything). The result? A consultant who sees the big picture,

while staying attentive to the smallest of details.

Brittany stays active in her community, by serving with Young Life, a teen ministry, and Meals

on Wheels. She is also a member of the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce.

Katie likes to have a good time. Fortunately for us, she also knows how to plan one.

Check out the resume: Katie earned a degree in Hospitality Management from the University

of Las Vegas, in a city that prides itself on showing the rest of the world how to properly

party. She then refined her soiree skills by serving as the special events coordinator at The

Mirage. (That would also be in Vegas, baby.)

Now you don’t have to get married in Vegas to experience Katie’s party-planning expertise.

personally the importance of details on the first day of the rest of your life, the Wedding

Day.

Having planned and executed her own destination wedding amidst pursuing a doctoral degree

in the field of clinical psychology, Shelly’s life endeavors are a true testament to what can

be accomplished when incomparable organization and passion meet undying commitment.

Having always sought ventures for her innate creativity, she found a passion like no other

when meeting the challenges of planning her own wedding.

Since joining For the Love of Brides, Shelly has perfected the art of the planning process

through building empathic relationships with brides that foster a melding of vision with

originality and aesthetic expertise, disheveled details with organization, and stress with

calm, comfort, and understanding.
